Hello again friends! Hope you all are having a wonderful New Year! Can you believe it is already 2011? You know, we probably say that every year "Can you believe it is _____ already?!" You think we would start believing at some point?! ha ha.
So as I mentioned in my last post I haven't really written in a long long long time and so much has happened this past year it would take a book to catch you all up... so I figured I'll just write about things as they happen or I think about them.

Exciting news: I started a new job last week! I know, you're thinking, 'wait-didn't you just start a 'new' job back in July?' and yes, you would be correct. Through a surprising turn of events and conversations with some leadership I am now working in Compassion's Marketing department. I am a part of the Donor Relations team and support four of our regional relationship managers. A very exciting part of this new job is getting to hear more about and engage more with our Leadership Development Program (LDP). Sponsors provide funds to help students go to college...an incredible program! Even though there is a lot of new information and processes to learn I am really enjoying the challenge and new group of people I get to work with.

Crazy news: I'm training for a marathon.Ha! I know. CRAZY! So far I'm really enjoying it ... I'm at the beginning of the training program and so far my long runs haven't been too bad ... I'm running in the Big Sur International Marathon *along the coast*Hwy1*California.
