I've always wondered why so many people dislike Valentines Day? Especially singles...really it's not that bad. Just because you don't have a "significant other" in your life doesn't mean you don't have significant people in your life! Make 'em feel loved! I've personally always loved the holiday. Nothings better than taking the time to tell the special people in your life how much they mean to you & how much you love them. Maybe it helps that I have amazing family that make me feel so loved & special. Below is a picture of the flowers Karen bought for me, as well as yummy chocolates & a card that made me cry. So sweet! Thanks Karen!!!

As I was thinking about what to help Brian get Karen for Vday this week, I remembered back in High School we used to put together these Candy Poems to ask guys to the Sadies Hawkins dance. (Oooh the good'ol days) I always loved putting those things together. I found this particular one on the Internet, but tweaked it a little. Have to say it's a little risk'cay...so I won't be writing it out...for the children's sake...gotta keep these posts clean =) Karen thought it was pretty funny though! I really recommend putting one of these together for a friend/loved one...they're good for holidays, birthdays, or special occasions. If you come up with one let me know---it would be fun to share ideas.
